Barcaciu Chalet - Avrig Lake (2011m) - following the blue point marked trail, you will reach Avrig Lake after 3 hours of light trekking through the beautiful glaciar valley of Avrig.
Barcaciu Chalet - Negoiu Chalet - the trail marked with red point gives you the opportunity to take a nice 2 and a half hours walk through the coniferous forest, crossing two spectacular glaciar valleys: Serbota Valley and Puha Valley.
Barcaciu Chalet - Scarisoara Plateau (1900-2000m) - is the most popular hike, accessible for everybody who reach the chalet. It is an easy and short trail (40minutes), red cross marked, that leads to Scarisoara Plateau, from where you can admire an impressive view of the western part of Fagaras Mountains. .
Barcaciu Chalet - Puha Valley - Musceaua Scarii Peak - Serbota Peak(2331m)- Saratii Ridge - Negoiu Peak(2535m) - Cleopatra's Needles - Negoiu Chalet - Barcaciu Chalet - is a popular 8 hours tour through which you can experience the most spectacular views in this part of Fagaras Mountains, and reach the second highest peak in Romania: Negoiu 2335m
Barcaciu Chalet - Scara Peak (2306m) - if you want to reach the main ridge from our chalet, you can follow the red cross marked trail, which leads you to Scara Peak after 3 hours of medium difficulty trekking. From this point you can choose one from 4 trails available to go back to the chalet, or you can follow the main ridge trail, red line marked.
Barcaciu Chalet - Scara Peak - Topolog Valley - Salatruc Village - if you wish to experience a hike through the wildest parts of Fagaras Mountains, you can follow this trail, that crosses the main ridge from the northen part to the southern one.
Barcaciu Chalet - Avrig Valley - Budislavu Valley - is a wonderful hike, partial marked, through which you can reach the wild valley of Budislavu and its beautiful waterfalls.
